Getting There:

AIR: The nearest airport is Bagdogra (124 km) and connected by regular daily flight with Kolkata and Delhi. The Gangtok bound tourist disembarking at Bagdogra may avail of the Sikkim Helicopter Service, tourist coaches or tourist taxis to Gangtok.

RAIL: Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri/Shiliguri (114 km). Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai are connected to these two stations by regular rail services. A four-hour drive from Shiliguri will take you to Gangtok. Buses, taxis are available at Sikkim Nationalised Transport Complex, Pradhan Nagar.

ROAD: By road Gangtok is 725 km from Kolkata and 139 km from Darjeeling. Direct bus services from Kolkata are available. Kolkata via Shiliguri.
