Getting There
AIR: Nearest airport is Bagdogra
which is 80 km from Kalimpong. Two major cities Kolkata and Delhi are connected by regular
direct flights. Kalimpong bound tourist disembarking at Bagdogra may avail of tourist
coaches, tourist taxis or private taxis to Kalimpong.
RAIL: The nearest railway stations
are Shiliguri junction (69 km) and New Jalpaiguri railway station. Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai
and Bangalore are connected with these two stations by regular service.
ROAD: Kalimpong is connected to
Darjeeling, Shiliguri and New Jalpaiguri by road through buses, jeeps and private taxis.
